Miss Chelsea’s Mom and Dad met in such a cute way! Dad was a pharmacist at Mom’s local drugstore. As Mom puts it, “We ran into each other downtown and immediately were drawn to each other. Sean knew my date of birth from my prescriptions I had filled as his store, and the rest is history!” That was eleven years ago, and they are so thrilled to add Chelsea to their family.

When Mom found out she was pregnant she left the positive pregnancy test on Dad’s desk with a glass of water. When he came to bed that night, she asked him to get the glass of water for her. He saw the test and couldn’t believe it! Mom had such a great pregnancy; she says she’s already ready to do it again.

Mom and Dad decided not to find out if they were having a boy or a girl. Mom was certain they would have a boy, but Dad was 50/50 the entire pregnancy. While Mom planned for and expected a boy, she was secretly hoping for a girl. In the delivery room, when she heard it was s girl, she burst into tears, she was so happy. Mom and Dad had decided on two boy names and two girl names, but a few weeks before Chelsea was born they cut Courtney and Shane from the list. If Chelsea was a boy, she would be Travis. Mom was spared from a prolonged labor and Chelsea was born within three hours of arriving at the hospital!

“My first thought as a new mom to a beautiful baby girl was how close my mother and I are, and how I wouldn’t wait to share these same experiences with her, as I did with my mom.”

“The first few days at home with Chelsea have been emotional, exciting, and joyous. So far baby Chelsea eats like a champ and her disposition overall has been happy and pleasant. We wouldn’t change it for anything.”
